"Love the fall"

You're got to learn to love the fall
You've got to learn to risk it all.
You've got to learn of all the pain
You've got to learn of all the vain

Love the fall
Risk the fall
Save the day
For another way

"I'm Not You"

You tell me "be strong"
And carry on.
But I'm not happy,
And I'm not sappy.

You want me to be,
As swift as the sea.
But I'm not easy and free,
Cause I'm just sad little me.

You can try and try,
And make me attempt to fly.
But I'll just come crashing down,
And depressed I won't make a sound.

"Him"

His life is so perfect,
His life is an art.
I loved him from the beginning;
Right from the start.

He's made me feel love,
He's made me believe.
That everything is ok,
That he'll never leave.

And even if we don't stay as couple;
Always together.
I know that i'll always
ALWAYS love him forever.

"Gender Equality"

I may be different,
In the physical form.
I may be never meant,
And hate the storm.

We may be opposite,
But we're one and the same.
In each others genders we may not fit,
But just us join in your game.

You don't let us play,
But we let you.
You push us away,
If only you knew.

Everyone thinks you have more power,
That we kneel before you.
But yet all you do is act sour,
Get a clue.

We can do everything you can,
We're not just pink and pretty.
Well we knew how to plan,
And for your game we can play "sickly".

"Lost"

My story is lost,
Forever gone from the sands of time.

He is lost,
Forever gone from the unconcentrated mind.

I am lost,
Forever drifting away from the world that didn't care.

"Lies"

I sit and listen,
To the talking of my friends.
I start to talk,
And many lies just flow out.

I'm asked a question,
You answer.
I launch into my story,
And tell more lies.

You stand in front
and yell at me,
You yell how you hate the lies,
I lie...

"The Beach"

Shoes slip off,
And sit on the step.
The cold, grey stone,
That stops before the grain.

I step down,
And touch the sand.
The multi-colored grain,
That holds me there and holds heaven as well.

He steps down,
And I grab his hand.
But he changes his mind,
He reaches and puts his arm around my waist.

I take a step,
And he does too.
The sand holds our heaven,
That sand also holds our hell.

The screams come,
And the laughter is heard.
The screams of delight,
That knocks us over.

We are pushed,
Closer than ever.
We are told to kiss,
That sets off a spark.

He says to me,
"Well, they started something."
I look up at him,
Then hope for a kiss.

I lean closer,
But the kiss doesn't come.
We hear the laughs,
That is followed by the children knocking us over.
