The darkness shrouds you,

Even when you scream.

It crushes you everywhere,

Even in your dream.

It won’t stop,

It’ll never go away.

It holds onto you,

Each and every day.

But you can only escape it,

When you take your last breath.

The black insanity,

Ends now with death.

Your sanity lost,

It won’t be found.

The pain you feel,

Doesn’t make a sound.

The torturous things,

Hidden in your heart.

No one sees it,

Till you’re torn apart.

The blood slowly drips,

Down your arm.

Because your weapon of choice,

Is self harm.

Darkness has killed,

Sanity’s light.
